Join our team of 11 people to develop procurement strategies, optimize costs, and collaborate closely with colleagues and suppliers to create real impact. You will report directly to the Director International Network Operations
We value flexibility: you’ll work around 40% on site in Bad Hersfeld, up to 50% from home, and around 10% travelling across Europe.

Your Role:

• Lead and implement strategic procurement initiatives to support business goals
• Drive cost and value optimization through tendering, network planning, and capacity management
• Standardize key commercial terms and manage supplier contracts efficiently
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
• Support cross-functional collaboration to integrate procurement into broader strategies
• Identify and reduce procurement and supply chain risks

Your Profile:

• Degree in business, economics, engineering, or equivalent
• A minimum of 5-7 years experience in strategic procurement and supplier management
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and passion for process improvement
  
• Experience with ERP / procurement systems (e.g. Transporeon)
  
• Fluent English (C1 level), written and spoken
  
• CIPS certification or equivalent is a plus
